Rofida Zagloul is an AUC Biology Graduate with +3 years of lab & scientific research experience in molecular and cellular biology. Zagloul has joined multiple eye-opening research projects to investigate the state-of-the-art of biological concepts and how to build on them, which was the foundation why she grew a multidisciplinary research background.
Zagloul led through competitions, internships while promoting health-related initiatives. Internationally, she represented the AUC Biology Department in the 9th URC @Abu Dhabi University with research on developing a treatment for Aluminum-induced neurotoxicity. Likewise, she co-developed a biosensor for better VPA detection targeting epileptic patients, a research project that scored 2nd place for the Public Inspiration Award in Sensus’20 international competition @Eindhoven University. Nationally, Zagloul co-founded ‘Moarfek’ startup that aims at promoting digital health
