Michael is a biology graduate with a concentration in Molecular and Cell Biology from the American University of Cairo. He has completed various training and internships in clinical pathology, oncology, assisted reproductive technologies, and molecular biology. He has also worked as a research assistant and volunteered as a program development consultant.
He is skilled in using Microsoft and Google technologies and has intermediate programming skills in C++, R, Python, and bash. He has publications in scientific journals and is currently working on several research projects including developing a bash script to determine antibiotic-resistant genes and comparing transcript quantification tools. He is fluent in Arabic and English and has a good knowledge of Italian.
